He watched her walk away. Every step she took, broke his heart over and over again. He couldn’t believe it had ended just like that. He had made each mistake. He regretted each choice. He knew he was wrong. He couldn’t move. He just watched her walk away. She never looked back. She kept on walking. She breathed in the fresh cool air around her. The brave face she had kept on, now faded away and tears rolled down. She made every mistake. She wished she could go back and change her choices. She felt her heart break as he didn’t come after her. This wasn’t supposed to happen, they both thought. Happily ever afters didn’t happen this way and they had been promised a happy ending.
