How long does a princess have to wait for her knight in shining armor? If it were up to me, for as long as eternity. True love is worth the wait, but not everyone holds patience as their virtue.

We can only go with the flow for so long before we get tired of waiting, waiting, and waiting. Constantly waiting. For a phone call. For a text message. For an IM. For a hug. Even for a hello. Because sooner or later, your destined maiden becomes a queen for someone else. Another prince has come along and swept her off of her feet even if she didn’t want him to. She just wanted you.

I don’t want him. I want you…but patience isn’t my virtue. I don’t care for his fairy tale promises. I desire your lips. I want their envy because how how happy they see me with you. Honestly, I’d wait forever for you as long as you give me reason to. However, there is only so much I can do. I only have so much time until I give up and think, “I’m done with you.” Love requires action. Inaction causes no reaction. Get off your high horse, and pursue me. Or at least let me know where we stand. Where I stand. Or if I should even be here, waiting. 

Dont make me wait too long for you. I might just end up letting you go, or forgetting about you completely. Then what would you and I have? Just a happily never after…
