I fell in love with this guy. We really connected emotionally and intellectually. I really fell and he seemed to too. He broke up with me saying he wasn't ready for a serious relationship and felt this one getting serious. He had just gotten out of a serious relationship. He kept saying that he rushed into a relationship. But the two of us were taking baby steps the whole time we were friends then liked each other then went on dates then finally dated. So none of it makes sense. The day after he saw me and he was friendly as ever like nothing is different except we don't talk as much. I have been wanting to talk to him about how confused I am and how I'm not taking this so well, but I'm not sure if I should. What should I do?
Communication is key. Definitely go talk to him or else it may be bothering you from the back of your mind for a loooooong time. Maybe he just isn’t ready, but you deserve a better explanation than, “Yeah I’m not ready. Bye.” Best option, just talk.
